Super Mario Crossover is one of the best Super Mario Brothers remakes I’ve ever played. Just the ability to play with other characters in the world of Mario is completely brilliant. The functionality and response time of the controls are almost perfect. The only thing you have to get use to is the z and x key which are jump and shoot or special ability. This game really takes the classic Mario aspect and you can play with Mega Man, Billy, Simon, Samus, Link or the original Mario. I have always wondered what it would be like to infuse the game with different characters from other games and this game brings the action right into the whole world play. You start out just like Mario run through, bust blocks, dodge and jump over enemies and obstacles. Don’t fall in the holes or off the screen or you get a life taken. Surprisingly even playing with the other characters the special 1up and hidden mushrooms are still available, so keep a lookout. I would definitely recommend playing this game.
